Used Instruments — do you have a musical instrument in your home that you no longer need?

Our Play it Again, Ithaca program collects and recycles musical instruments for loan to students in the Ithaca City School District. Through this program FABG strives to provide students who might not otherwise have access to instruments an opportunity to participate in band and orchestra in the Ithaca schools.

Please consider donating a used instrument or donating money for the purchase of instruments through the FABG. We can repair or refurbish instruments in need of some attention. Help us place instruments into the hands of all interested young musicians in our community. In the school year 2010-11 we received donations of 18 instruments including: a clarinet, two trumpets, two flutes and one trombone. Thank you one and all. To date we have placed exactly 118 instruments. Help us place more!

Time & Ideas We welcome your energy and/or ideas in helping us support the arts in our schools. Let us know what is important to you. Email president@fabgithaca.org if you have time and ideas to give.

We raise money through ads sales in the performance booklets for all concerts and theatrical productions in the middle and high schools. Ad sale revenue supports teacher Mini-grants. Place ads here or for information contact ads@fabgithaca.org.
