The Ithaca Community Fine Arts Booster Group (FABG), an affiliate of IPEI, has teacher Mini-grants available for support and/or projects in dance, drama, music and arts. The 2011-2012 fall deadline is October 30, 2011. ICSD teachers and principals are eligible to apply. Applications are available online at Receive tab, by calling 277-4631 or emailing president@fabgithaca.org.

Past mini-grants have included K—12 support for visiting artists, a student art exhibit, theater supplies, and a mural and pre-school dance residency, for example. Since 2001, the Fine Arts Boosters have awarded over $85,000 in grants for district-wide activities. Funds for the teacher Mini-grants are raised through ads placed in the middle and high school concert and drama performance booklets. We encourage you to apply.
